Honest limits
- It is not a locking pet door. Anything that can push fabric can go through, including a raccoon on the porch. Use it on an interior door or a door inside a screened porch or fenced yard, not as your only barrier to the street.
- Heavy traffic means more heat loss. Every pass opens the seam for a second. Twenty trips an hour is still far better than a door propped open, but it is not a sealed wall.
- Clean it by wiping. Muddy paws show on the lower panel. Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash.
