Size Guide
Choose the Right Size for a Perfect Fit
A properly sized magnetic screen door should fully cover your door opening and attach securely around the frame. Use this guide to measure your door before choosing your Fillis screen.
Measure Your Door Opening
Step 1: Measure the Width
Use a measuring tape to measure the inside width of your door opening from left to right.
Example:If your door opening is 30 inches wide, write down 30".
Step 2: Measure the Height
Measure from the top of the door opening to the bottom.
Example:If your door opening is 80 inches tall, write down 80".
Actual Door Size vs. Curtain Size
Why Is the Curtain Larger Than the Door Opening?
The magnetic screen curtain is usually slightly larger than the actual door opening. This extra coverage allows the screen to attach to the door frame and helps reduce gaps around the edges.
Example:

Fit Door Size |
Curtain Actual Size |

30" × 80" |
32" × 81" |
Recommended Size Rule
Simple Rule for Choosing Size
Choose a screen that is approximately:
· 1–2 inches wider than your door opening
· About 1 inch taller than your door opening
This helps the screen cover the frame properly and close smoothly.

Before You Order
Check These Before Buying
Before placing your order, make sure:
· Your measured door size matches the product’s “Fit Door Size”
· There is enough flat frame space for installation
· The screen will not interfere with the door handle
· The bottom of the screen can hang naturally
· The center magnetic seam can close without obstruction
Common Measurement Mistakes to Avoid
Do not choose a screen that is exactly the same size as your door opening.
Do not measure only the old screen.
Do not forget to measure both width and height.
Do not ignore the outer door frame where the screen will attach.
