Why "one size fits all" usually doesn't
Most magnetic screens are sold in a handful of stock sizes (36×80, 72×80…) and you're left to force your door into one of them. If your opening is even slightly off — an oversized patio slider, a wide French double, a garage bay, an RV door — the screen either won't cover it or drapes with gaps at the edges where bugs walk right in. A made-to-measure screen skips all of that: it's cut to your opening for a clean, gap-free fit.

The extra-wide sliding opening (what makes this different)
Horizontal slide, not center-split: unlike a center-opening magnetic screen, this one runs on a horizontal sliding track, which opens up a much wider clear passage. That means you can move furniture, big boxes, appliances, strollers, and pet crates straight through without wrestling a curtain — genuinely useful during a move or a home renovation, and just convenient day to day.
Smooth track + weight support: a premium top track and roller-hook system let the screen glide quietly without sticking or jamming, and spread the screen's weight evenly so the mesh isn't stressed — which is what keeps a large custom screen stable and long-lasting.
Standard mesh or privacy mesh — your call
Because it's made to order, you choose the mesh:
- Standard mesh — fine, breathable, and see-through for maximum airflow and a clear view out.
- Privacy mesh — a denser weave that makes it harder to see in from outside, for street-facing doors or ground-floor rooms.
Either way the mesh is fine and breathable — it helps block mosquitoes, flies, and other insects while letting fresh air through.
