How cold does it still work in? It works in any temperature because it does not generate heat; it stops the moving cold air (the draft) and holds a layer of still air in front of the door. The colder and windier it is outside, the bigger the difference you feel standing near the door. It is not a substitute for a heated room.

Is this the same as the standard-door curtain? This is the blackout version for a 32 x 80 door: it blocks light as well as drafts. If you want daylight through the door, see the clear-window curtain; for other standard sizes see the standard-door curtain.
